LUC MENORAH REHABILITATION FOUNDATION in the northwest region of Cameroon, is home to over 150 children who are both vulnerable and disabled, having been abandoned by their communities.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the children, and despite the challenging circumstances, they greeted us with joy and excitement. This left us with a myriad of emotions - gratitude for the opportunity to make a difference and sadness for the reality of their situations.
The visit served as a powerful reminder of why we exist, to lend assistance where it's needed most. Each team member actively took part in providing healthcare services, including consultations, lab tests, and treatments, to ensure that the children could enjoy a healthy and pleasant Christmas holiday season. By contributing our time, energy, and resources, we left the foundation feeling accomplished.
