The Problem
High out-of-pocket costs, even for patients with insurance, are a huge barrier to accessing health care. When people must choose between paying for food and rent or paying for health care, many forgo health care. It's an unacceptable choice disproportionately forced onto people from low-income families.
The Solution
Building a hospital, and access to comprehensive, quality healthcare services is important for promoting and maintaining health, preventing and managing disease, reducing unnecessary disability and premature death, and achieving health equity for all in Cameroon. This can be achieved by subsidizing health services to the average Cameroonian
